Motorists have been advised by the New York State Department of Transportation that between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, there will be double-lane closures northbound and southbound on Route 376 (Raymond Avenue) between Davis Avenue and Main Street.
The closures coincide with planned lane closures on Route 44/55 between Raymond Avenue and Fowler Avenue that begin on the same night.
During the highway work permit activities, motorists traveling through the area can expect minor delays and should follow the detour posted by NYSDOT.
NYSDOT noted that “motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.”
